How To Download A Pdf Copy Of Your EPC In 5 Easy Steps – For Free
Have you ever wanted to get a pdf copy of your Energy Performance Certificate (EPC). In this article I will show you how.
STEP 1
Go to epcregister.com and follow instructions to locate your EPC.
STEP 2
On the certificate page, select “Print” under the “Share This Certificate” option on the left.
STEP 3
In the new screen, click the small triangle next to “Destination” and choose “PDF.”
STEP 4
Press the “Save” button at the bottom.
STEP 5
Rename the file if desired and save it in your preferred location.

Type in epcregister.com in your browser window.
This will take you to the government epc register. Scroll down to the big green Start now button.
Select whether you want to find a domestic property or a non domestic property.
Enter the postcode of the property.
Click the "Find" buton
This will show you all the epcs that are at that postcode.
Click on the EPC that you wish to view.
On the left hand side of the certificate select the “Print” option below where it says “Share This Certificate”.
The next screen differs slightly depending on your browser.

Then at the bottom of the screen press Save
Then rename the file if desired and save the pdf to your preferred location.
That’s it all done. To retreive your epc pdf, simply navigate to the location where you saved it to open the pdf version of the epc certificate.
If using Microsoft Edge, on the left hand side you will see the Print options.
Make sure the “Microsoft Print to PDF” is selected under the “Printer” selection.
Press "Print" at the bottom of the screen.
Lastly, rename the file if desired and save the pdf to your preferred location.
